Baptisms at All Saints’
Baptism is a very special time in your life. We are excited that you are thinking about being baptized or having your child baptized. Below you will find some helpful information about how to proceed in booking a baptism at All Saints’ Church, Highgate.
In general, in order to book your child’s baptism at All Saints’, you need either to be resident in our parish (which you can check here), or on our parish electoral roll (which means you are already a regular member of our congregation). If you live in another parish and are not already a member of our congregation, it would normally be our duty to refer you to your local parish clergy. You can begin the process of booking a baptism by filling in this form.
Another option that we offer is the service of “Thanksgiving for the Gift of a Child.” Please follow this link to see what the service is and if it may be appropriate for you and your family. Three reasons why this service may be appropriate are:
- parents who see this as a preliminary to baptism;
- parents who do not wish their children to be baptized immediately;
- others, who do not ask for baptism, but who recognize that something has happened for which they wish to give thanks to God.
If you would like to book a service of “Thanksgiving for the Gift of a Child” (which would ideally take place during one of our Sunday morning Parish Communions) then please fill in this form.
